Hickory Wallet is a non-custodial browser wallet for the Hickory Blockchain ecosystem. The wallet is designed to let users create, import, manage, and sign transactions without Hickory taking custody of funds or collecting personal data.

No Personal Data Collection

Hickory Wallet does not collect personal data. The wallet does not use tracking, analytics, advertising identifiers, or sell user data.

Recovery Phrases and Private Keys

Recovery phrases and private keys are never transmitted to Hickory, HICScan, or any third party. Users remain in full control of their wallet credentials.

Local Browser Storage

Encrypted wallet data is stored locally in the user's browser storage. Hickory Wallet does not operate a custodial account system.

RPC and REST Requests

Hickory Wallet uses official Hickory RPC and REST endpoints only for:

  • Balance queries
  • Staking data
  • Transaction history
  • Network status
  • Broadcasting signed transactions

Clipboard Access

Clipboard access is only used when the user copies wallet addresses or transaction hashes from Hickory Wallet.

No Tracking or Sale of Data

Hickory Wallet does not use tracking, analytics, advertising identifiers, behavioral profiling, or the sale of user data.

User Responsibility

Users are responsible for safeguarding recovery phrases and passwords. Hickory cannot recover lost recovery phrases, private keys, passwords, or wallets.

Early Release Security Notice

Hickory Wallet is an early release product. Users should avoid storing large funds until independent security audits and mainnet procedures are completed.
