Chain ID: Hickory. Native denomination: uhic (1 HIC = 1,000,000 uhic). Network: public testnet. These links query public data; they do not sign or broadcast transactions.
Read-only status request
For developers: the following example reads the public RPC status. It does not sign or send a transaction. API links return raw JSON data, not a graphical explorer; use HICScan for a readable network view.
curl --fail --silent --show-error https://rpc.hickoryblockchain.com/statusCheck chain identity, block time and source before using any response. A successful request does not prove network-wide health. An unavailable response is unknown, not zero.
Operator sources and release gates
The versioned runbook linked above still contains release-readiness gates. Registry metadata and older documentation may differ, including fee guidance. Confirm the exact approved binary, genesis checksum, peer configuration and fee policy with Hickory before installation; do not fill unresolved values by guessing.
